what a wonderful life.

So there is this pretty bad virus going around and I think I caught it, So I ended up not going into work today... So today i'm just relaxing, trying to rest and this morning and I started thinking about everything that has been happening in the past few weeks with my grandpa getting sick, and how lucky I have been to be able to live so close to him and to see him all the time. I have been so thankful to have such a great grandpa who has always been so involved in my whole life and willing to do anything for me! He is such a wonderful happy person who always makes everyone around him feel loved!! :)

I feel bad that I never post anything on my poor blog! My life for the past year has pretty much nothing but CrAzYnEsS!! I lived at school and when I would home I felt like I had 101 different things that need to be done and all I want to do was relax!!

But I am beyond happy to announce that I AM GRADUATED!!!

I can't even begin to explain the happyness {and thankfulness} I feel everytime I think about how i'm done with that part of my life! It has been a very long, stressful, and hard year on me, and I am a much happier person now that i'm done!!

I don't want this post to turn into a venting session, so instead I will just leave a few pictures for you to enjoy :)

 Jeff showed up with my favorite flowers and even more balloons for me! and one of my darling old ladies gave me this hours glass and told me to enjoy ever minute of life, because it goes by fast! :) I am so thankful for all the wonderful people I got to meet this past year!!

one year.

Here are a few snap shots that one of my best friends Melissa took when we were coming out of the temple right after being sealed for time and all eternity!!! :)

Although we didn't get a chance to eat our leftover wedding cake on our actual one year date, we did cut into it and eat it tonight and here are a few pictures :)

So confession time: it's taking me a while to unpack everything because most everything got pushed into a room when we moved in {and because our house is so big it's not in my way, so it's not really driving me crazy that it's all still in boxes} But I decided a few weeks ago that it was time to start unpacking.

Well I don't have school on Monday and Jeff does so I normally spend my day laying around and enjoying not having to do anything. Well i've decided to put my lazy day to good use and made a goal to spend each monday working on one room at a time. I admit i've only spent one Monday actually working on a room. But after it was all put together I felt very accomplished and proud of myself because I did it all by myself with no help from Jeff whatsoever!

So I would now like to show you what our new guest room looks like:

I found the headboard at the DI for ten bucks! I only got the base coat on before the weather started getting to cold to paint, so it will just have to wait until summer for me to finish.

I am also planning on buying some black sheets, and some cute throw pillows :)
